Our base on Gordon Street Huntly is the home of The Huntly Advice Hub; a multi-agency project incorporating Gordon Rural Action, Barnardo’s, North Aberdeenshire Food Bank and a variety of other partners.

Gordon Rural Action works closely with Aberdeenshire North  Food Bank offering advice and support to its users. We are a referral partner and can issue those in need with food vouchers and emergency food boxes.

Gordon Rural Action offers a wide range of free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and digital access on a range of issues including Scottish Security Scotland Benefit applications, (Best Start Grants, Best Start Food Card, Carers Supplement, Young Carers Grant, Funeral Support Payment), Scottish Welfare Fund Applications, Universal Credit Applications and Journal updates, Warm Home Discount, Blue Badge Application, Housing Applications Council Tax Reduction / Housing Benefit.

You can access our Supported Digital Access Service by appointment, 5 days a week, 10am-2pm with access to IT equipment and any support you need.

You can also access the Uniform Exchange and Baby Bank at the Hub either through a hub advisor or by self-referral. Just fill out our online forms or email us at advice@gordonrural.org.uk

Gordon Rural Action can also assist in Signposting you to the organisation best placed to offer advice, whatever your concern or issue
